JESUS CHRIST, the Son of God came into the world and took upon himself flesh and blood: “the Word was made flesh” (John 1:14).  That statement simply means that the Son became a man—to redeem us from damnation.

His BLOOD and His DEATH were OFFERED to GOD as a payment for the sins of the whole world.  He died as a SACRIFICE—an atonement (to pay for) our sins on the Cross.

Isaiah 53:5 declares that Jesus was “WOUNDED” for TRANSGRESSIONS and that He was bruised (punished) for iniquities.  The text also proclaims that it PLEASED God to bruise Him. Jesus’ suffering brought pleasure to God because God hates our sin BUT He Loves Us!

Through the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus we see the righteousness of God.  Both His character and His nature are revealed to us through Christ’s work on the Cross.

God is Holy and God is love.  He loves sinners but He hates sin. When the Lord had made full payment for sin, including your sins—by the power of His own blood—He proclaimed from the Cross, “IT IS FINISHED” (John 19:30).

After, His death, His body was buried by His disciples (John 19:38-42).  He remained under the power of death for 3 days and 3 nights, but on the 3rd Day, He rose again from the dead.  Jesus rose from the dead according to His own words: “the Son of man shall be betrayed . . . and they shall condemn Him to death . . . and the third day He shall rise again” (Matt. 20:17-19)

Because God raised Jesus from the dead, He is appointed by the Father as the JUDGE of all men.  He has appointed a DAY when He will bring every man into the JUDGMENT.   Every man will receive either ETERNAL LIFE (John 17:1-3) or ETERNAL DAMNATION in the lake of fire (Rev.20:15).

Therefore, You must Repent and be Saved!

Repentance and faith will give you RIGHT STANDING with God.  The Bible calls this “JUSTIFICATION”—God ACQUITS every SINNER who repents of His sins and who puts Faith (believes) in Jesus Christ, His Son.  When you acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, all your sins are FORGIVEN and God gives unto you the gift of Eternal Life.

How to Obtain Salvation (Eternal Life) from God     (Rom. 10:9-10)

1. AGREE AND ACKNOWLEDGE TO GOD THAT YOU ARE A SINNER

2. REPENT (TURN YOUR HEART) FROM THE LOVE AND PRACTICE OF SIN

3. CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH UNTO GOD THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

4. BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD—thou shall be SAVED
